About Wiss Bar

We chose the name Wissahickon Bar and Bistro because we are proud to be located minutes away from such a historic park. What better way to honor this beautiful neighborhood and park then to name our bar after it? For as a long as the records go back (1903) this building has been a local bar/inn and we are happy to continue serving good food and cold beer to this community.

There's street parking available, and a parking lot for the Wissahickon train station directly across the street is also available to use.
